The latest WWE 2K25 update is catching serious heat from fans after patch 1.18 caused custom images to vanish from the game. Players relying on the Create-A-Superstar and Community Creations features were hit hard, sparking complaints across social media from frustrated gamers and content creators.
In response to the backlash, 2K took to the official WWE Games Twitter account with a message for the community. We are investigating reports of missing custom images after the latest patch (1.18) and well provide an update shortly on a resolution. Thank you for your patience! the tweet read.
The 1.18 patch was originally released to address other in-game issues, including some related to Create-A-Superstar mode. 2Ks official patch notes included:
- Stability and Performance improvements
- Fixed a bug where the wrong championship appeared on the nameplate when a Superstar had the Undisputed WWE Championship equipped
- Wyatt Sicks Quest Expansion now available with a new free Island Quest chapter and rewards
- Fixed Create-A-Superstar parts incorrectly marked as DLC
Despite those fixes, the custom image bug has left a bad taste for many players who spent hours personalizing their experience. With fan-created content being a huge part of the 2K community, losing access to those designs is more than just an inconvenience.
