Naomi has been part of the WWE family for many years and she obviously married into the Samoan dynasty after marrying Jimmy Uso. With that in mind, Naomi has now joked that she changed her last name to Fatu just to get more opportunities in WWE.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Drew McIntyre suggested to many WWE talent backstage that they should change their last name to Fatu to get more opportunities.
Naomi took to Twitter and responded to what Drew McIntyre had to say, as she joked thats exactly why she changed her last name to Fatu, just so that she can get more opportunities, saying, Thats why I changed my last name to Fatu hahhahahahhahahahhahahah
Naomi has been booked as a star after winning the Womens Money in the Bank ladder match and its clear WWE has big plans for her. While its obvious she was joking about changing her last name to get more opportunities, some fans feel what McIntyre said was true since they feel the Samoan stars in WWE get far more opportunities than others.
