AEW All In is still happening, but the event has seen plenty of changes behind the scenes from the match card to the venue itself.

Fightful Select revealed that several major matches for AEW All In have been planned for quite some time, including one that could have easily been the shows centerpiece: Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega had long been planned for AEW All In, even as far back as last year. The idea of Omega facing Okada for the Unified Title was also part of internal discussions before Omega even returned to action.

Another major match thats been locked in since early this year is Mercedes Mone vs. Toni Storm in a champion vs. champion match, designed to be one of the biggest attractions for the show.

Not everything discussed made it to the current plans, though. There were talks of Cope & Christian vs. FTR late last year, and that matchup was part of early plans for All In, but it was recently confirmed that this is no longer being pursued.

AEW also had to deal with an unexpected venue issue. Tony Khan confirmed that Coldplay locked down Wembley Stadium years in advance for their world tour, which meant AEW couldnt run their traditional All In date at the venue.

Theres no official word on why AEW didnt simply reschedule Wembley for another date, but one thing is clear the card and location for All In 2025 have taken a different direction than originally expected.

Do you think AEW made the right call with these changes? What matches should be locked in next? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
