WWE Hall of Famer Bushwhacker Luke has shared a gut-wrenching account of his tag team partner Butch Millers final days, revealing how their last moments together during WrestleMania 39 weekend became the most painful experience of his life.
Speaking on Wrestling Life with Ben Veal, Luke recalled how Butch had flown in from New Zealand early for the festivities, but everything changed the next morning when he went to check on his longtime friend.
Butch was rushed to the hospital, but things quickly took a turn for the worse.
Luke then made the devastating call to Butchs wife and daughters back home in New Zealand so they could say their final goodbyes over Zoom.
The Bushwhackers were partners for nearly 60 years, and for Luke, that bond was stronger than anything.
Luke continues to honor Butchs legacy by attending wrestling conventions around the world, keeping the stories of their wild, unforgettable careers alive for fans.
