The Evolution 2 Premium Live Event is taking placeon July 13, 2025 and WWE has already set up a solid card for the show. However, the shows happening during a very packed weekend and it appears many female talent feel the shows being set up to fail.

While speaking on Lucha Libre Online, Hugo Savinovich talked about Evolution 2 and noted that many of the female wrestlers are unhappy with how WWE is handling it. They feel the company, and especially Triple H, hasnt given the event enough support or attention.

Even though leaders like Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have said they support women in wrestling, it doesnt seem like the company has done enough to promote the show or build exciting storylines for it. This makes the wrestlers feel ignored as well.

Hugo noted that another big problem is that Evolution 2 is scheduled on a weekend thats already full of major events. Theres a Beyonc concert happening right across the street, AEW is running its All In: Texas event, and WWE is also holding Saturday Nights Main Event. With all this going on, it feels like Evolution 2 was just thrown into a busy weekend without proper planning or attention.

The female talent worry that if the event doesnt sell enough tickets, WWE will blame them. The wrestlers are scared theyll be told it was their fault if the event doesnt do well, even though they havent been given the tools to succeed.

Other shows that weekend are getting big names and strong support, like Saturday Nights Main Event being Goldbergs final match. But Evolution 2 only has one big match so far, and the rest of the show feels weak in comparison. The wrestlers feel like other events are protected and promoted, while theirs has been left behind.

Hugo made it clear that he isnt making this up since this is how many of the wrestlers actually feel. While not every woman on the card may feel this way, most of them seem upset. They believe theyve been put in a tough spot and left to carry the blame if things go wrong.

Right now, the women of WWE are just hoping that Evolution 2 doesnt get blamed if ticket sales are bad. Regardless, well have to see how the show will turn out next week as its clear they have a lot of hurdles to cross already.
