Kenny Omega returned to wrestling back in January this year after a battle with diverticulitis. While fans are glad he can still wrestle now, it appears hes still dealing with a lot of issues in his day-to-day life and especially after big matches.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Kenny Omega explained that hes dealing with a lot of difficulties right now, the biggest being multiple adhesions in his stomach. Whenever he has to breathe heavily, engage his core, twist, or stretch, those adhesions pull and bind to his internal organs. When they start to tear apart, it causes a lot of discomfort and brings on flu-like symptoms.

The Best Bout Machine also made it clear he doesnt want anyone to feel scared or sorry for him, or to judge his matches differently just because he cant always move as fast or as consistently as before. Its not only because of his core and stomach issues, even though those were surgically repaired, there are still many problems hes working through on a daily basis.

Omega mentioned his last match was the Anarchy in the Arena. A performance like that isnt just about the match itself but the entire process of putting together those big weekend shows.

That includes planning meetings, meet and greets with executives, dealing with tickets and merchandise, long days that are far more than just showing up with a small bag, changing, and heading to the ring. Especially on pay-per-view weekends, the workload is intense.

After something like that, Omega said hell be stuck in bed until around 5 or 6 p.m. for nearly a whole week. Sometimes its five, six, even seven days of just not having the energy to move and thats been the scariest part for him.

The fact that Kenny Omega is still wrestling despite dealing with so many issues in his day-to-day life shows just how dedicated he is to the business even now. Regardless, fans are now looking forward to his match against Kazuchika Okada at All In: Texas next week, so well have to see who will come out on top in the bout.
