Mercedes Mon has been ruling the roost as shecontinues her belt collectorrun, but many people are not happy about how strongly she is booked and compare her to Hulk Hogan. Unsurprisingly, the CEO of AEW has now told fans to stop calling her Mercedes Hogan.
While speaking during an Instagram Live session, Mercedes Mon addressed people who have been calling her Mercedes Hogan after shes won so many titles. She told them not to call her Mercedes Hogan but instead, call her Mercedes Omega, saying, Dont call me Mercedes Hogan, call me Mercedes Omega.
This comes after the CEO of AEW defeatedZeuxis to become the new CMLL Womens World Champion at AEW Grand Slam Mexico and many people feel Mercedes Mon simply refuses to lose.
Mercedes Mon wanting people to call her Omega is obviously due to the fact that Kenny Omega had a belt collector gimmick a few years ago and shed rather be compared to Omega than Hogan.
Mercedes is now set to challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Womens Championship at All In: Texas, and if she wins, shell be holding seven titles. Therefore, well have to see if she will end up winning the AEW Womens Title next week as there will be some people who wont be happy about that at all.
