A priceless piece of wrestling history has been stolen and the Hart Family is asking for help.
Georgia Smith, daughter of the late Davey Boy Smith (British Bulldog), revealed that the commemorative plaque at the iconic Hart House has been stolen. The home, known worldwide as the site of the legendary Hart Family Dungeon, holds deep meaning for wrestling fans and the family itself.
Georgia took to Instagram to share the news, reposting from fellow family member Brooke Hart Minnema, who expressed how devastating the theft has been. It makes me upset and mad to see this, Georgia wrote, urging anyone with information to contact the authorities. Brooke Hart Minnema also addressed the situation, explaining how heartbreaking the loss is for the entire family.
The Hart House in Calgary, Alberta, is one of the most famous locations in pro wrestling history. Generations of wrestling icons trained in the Dungeon inside those walls, including Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, and many more.
Local authorities are now investigating, and the family is pleading with the public for help recovering the stolen plaques.
