WWE didnt just confirm Chad Gables injury on RAW they mightve already set the stage for someone else to step into the El Grande Americano mask.
During the June 30, 2025 episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE officially acknowledged that Chad Gable and his masked alter ego El Grande Americano are both sidelined after Gable suffered a legitimate shoulder injury. In a backstage segment, Gable appeared with America Made, wearing a sling, when RAW General Manager Adam Pearce approached him. Pearce kept it blunt, telling Gable he was sorry to hear about the injury and sarcastically adding that El Grande Americano would be off TV as well.
But later in the show, WWE threw fans a curveball. During another backstage segment with American Made, the El Grande Americano character appeared again only this time, it was noticed something was off. The masked man looked noticeably taller than Gable, fueling immediate speculation that someone else was under the mask.
The internet didnt take long to point fingers, with many suggesting Ludwig Kaiser could be the one behind the mystery appearance. Kaiser has history with Gable, and with WWE playing it coy, fans are already debating whether this is the direction theyre heading. At this point, nothing has been confirmed.
