WWE is making sure its roster gets a well-earned break but not before taping both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown in one packed night of action.
The June 30, 2025 episode of RAW is set to air live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a special early start time of 6 PM ET on Netflix. That early kickoff isnt random WWE will tape this weeks SmackDown immediately after RAW wraps, giving most of the roster a rare stretch of time off heading into the Fourth of July holiday.
Were told this break was planned well in advance to give talent and staff time off to enjoy the holiday, especially after whats been a demanding travel schedule, including the recent trip to Saudi Arabia for WWE Night of Champions.
The good news? Everything ran smooth heading into tonights tapings. There were no travel issues that we heard of ahead of RAW, and the roster and staff made it to Pittsburgh without a hitch.
Once the dust settles after tonights RAW and SmackDown tapings, most of the WWE roster will be off for the rest of the week. The SmackDown crew, who pulled double duty traveling internationally, will get an extended break that stretches through next week.
Of course, before the time off kicks in, fans can still look forward to a stacked RAW tonight. Rhea Ripley will open the show with a huge message following her win at Night of Champions, and The New Day will defend their WWE World Tag Team Championships against Judgment Day. Plus, Sheamus, Rusev, Sami Zayn, Penta, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and GUNTHER are all set for action, along with updates from Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce about Evolution 2.
Ringside Newswill be providing live play-by-play coverage of this weeks show over in ourWWE Monday Night RAW coveragehub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the episode will turn out.
