
The Rock isnt just appearing in WWEs upcoming Netflix docuseries Unrealhes had a hand in shaping how it all looks.
New details have surfaced about the five-part series, set to premiere on July 29, and Dwayne The Rock Johnsons involvement goes far beyond just being in front of the camera. According to sources via Post Wrestling, Johnsons team provided feedback and notes for the episodes where he appears, ensuring his portrayaland likely the surrounding storylinesmet his standards.
The docuseries, co-produced by Peyton Mannings Omaha Productions and NFL Films, promises to give fans an unprecedented backstage look at WWE, with many comparing it to HBOs Hard Knocks. But its The Rocks influence thats already grabbing attention before the first episode even drops.
The former WWE Champion is featured in Episode 4, which focuses on John Cenas shocking heel turn at the Elimination Chamber event, as well as The New Days heel turn. WWE President Nick Khan also appears in the episode, but behind the scenes, The Rocks fingerprints are all over the production.
Triple H is also heavily involved, providing narration and an introduction for the series. But when it comes to shaping the narrative, The Rocks team made sure their clients legacyand screen timecame off exactly how they wanted.
The series will also feature moments from WWEs RAW premiere on Netflix, Royal Rumble matches, womens division highlights, and WrestleMania 41. Filming began last year around WrestleMania 40 and ramped up significantly last November. A second set of episodes is already being filmed for a 2026 release.
