Kairi Sane isnt facing any backstage heat in WWE, despite her involvement in two matches that left top stars injured.
The former Damage CTRL member has been at the center of speculation after both Zoey Stark and Liv Morgan suffered serious injuries during recent RAW matches. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has made it clear that theres no heat on Sane whatsoever.
When asked about the situation during his podcast, Sapp explained that both injuries were freak accidents and the locker room isnt blaming Kairi.
The first incident took place on the May 19 episode of RAW when Zoey Stark suffered tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus after a botched missile dropkick attempt involving Kairi. Stark had to undergo surgery and is expected to miss several months of action.
Just weeks later, Kairi Sane faced Liv Morgan in a singles match on June 16. During the bout, a basic single-leg takedown led to Morgan suffering a dislocated shoulder, forcing the match to be stopped entirely. Morgan also required surgery and is currently out of action.
Despite the timing, the consensus backstage is that Kairi isnt at fault and both situations were unfortunate accidents. Sane was reportedly very upset and concerned after both matches.
