The Night of Champions Premium Live Event is just a few hours away and the excitement for the show is at an all-time high. While fans wait for the show, it appears the opening match has now been revealed.
According to PWInsider, Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes in the King of the Ring tournament finals will be the opening match for the Night of Champions Premium Live Event.
The Apex Predator and Cody Rhodes had an intense promo on the June 27th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, as both competitors are determined to win the match and make their way to SummerSlam.
The Night of Champions Premium Live Event is headlined by John Cena defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk, the King and Queen of the Ring tournament finals and other matches that will entertain fans from start to finish. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether Night of Champions will surpass all expectations when all is said and done.
