Abyss has been working in a backstage role in WWE for several years now, but fans finally got a chance to play as him on WWE 2K25 as part of its Dunk & Destruction DLC pack. They did a whole media tour for the character and now WWEs backstage reaction to the same has been revealed.
According to Fightful Select, a lot of WWE talent had high praise for Abyss after his character was released for WWE 2K25 as well as the media tour right after its release for good measure.
Fans and wrestlers alike have praised the WWE 2K25 team for accurately portraying Abyss character model in the game, which even featured his iconic theme song from his TNA days and mannerisms as well.
It is also to be noted that Abyss has absolutely made it clear he has no plans of stepping back inside the squared circle ever again since he is more than content in his role as a WWE producer.
All the love coming in for Abyss from fans and people in WWE shows just how much of a mark hes left on wrestling. Even if he never wrestles again, its clear the Monster is still special to a lot of people. And with WWE 2K25, fans can cause as much destruction as possible with Abyss again.
