It looks like WWE already has the ending in mind for this years Night of Champions.
FightFul Select reports that as of today, June 27, the current plan is for John Cena vs. CM Punk to close the show this Saturday in Saudi Arabia. The Undisputed WWE Championship match is set to cap off the premium live event, barring any last-minute changes.
The showdown between Cena and Punk has been the most talked-about match on the card, with their personal rivalry boiling over in recent weeks. Now, it appears WWE is positioning their clash as the final moment of the night.
Of course, in WWE, plans can change at any time, but this is the direction as it stands heading into the weekend.
Full lineup currently set for WWE Night of Champions 2025:
- Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk
- King of the Ring Final: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
- Queen of the Ring Final: Jade Cargill vs. Asuka
- WWE United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa
- Mens Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross
- Womens Street Fight: Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez
