The Netflix stream for the June 27th edition of Friday Night SmackDown in Saudi Arabia was out for a long time due to technical issues, but the show went on for the live audience. As it turns out, Cody Rhodes actually had an impromptu segment while the feed was still cut.
Footage showed that Cody Rhodes was addressing the audience in attendance while the feed was still down. He asked a member of production if the feed was back up but when that didnt happen, he just asked the fans in attendance who among them would be the loudest for todays show and Night of Champions.
Immediately after The American Nightmare asked the question, Carmelo Hayes music hit as he came out wearing street clothes and confronted Cody Rhodes in the ring. Obviously this was an impromptu segment to kill time. In the end, Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes on Hayes and took him out to a huge round of cheers.
Randy Orton also killed time while the feed was cut as he yeeted with the crowd and posed for them just so that they had something to enjoy while the entire outage was still going on. Regardless, the feed is back now and the shows been going well so far and thats all that matters to fans.
