The June 27 edition of WWE SmackDown was an interesting show. The live feed crashed, but the show carried on. This article contains a major spoiler, since the show hasnt aired yet on the USA Network in the United States.
Giulia took zero time to rise to the top of NXT, and that transferred to the main roster in a hurry when she was called up. In Saudi Arabia for SmackDown, Giulia was able to clinch her first main roster title.
Zelina Vega walked into SmackDown as WWE Womens United States Champion. Giulia did not intend on making the flight home without that title around her waist.
These two had a hard-fought contest, and they fought around the ring. Finally, Giulia nailed a Kiss of Death and the Northern Lights Bomb to win the Womens United States Championship.
We will have to see how many titles Giulia holds in WWE by the time her tenure in the company is finished. With Triple Hs backing, odds are she will etch her name into the record books time and time again.
