Bron Breakker Exposes the Real Story Behind That Brutal IShowSpeed Spear

During a sit-down with The Undertaker, Michelle McCool on the Six Feet Under podcast, Breakker explained how the viral moment came together, and why Speed never really had a chance once the hit was coming. It all started with some good-natured trash talk from The Undertaker, who couldnt help but poke fun at Speed for agreeing to take the hit.

Breakker laughed as he explained the setup, making it clear that everyone, including Speed, was on board with the spotthough not everyone had the same idea of what bringing it meant.

Undertaker wasnt buying it completely, though.

Breakker admitted the producers were all over the segment, walking Speed through everythingincluding his entrance, which is where things started to go sideways.

But Breakker could see trouble brewing, especially as Speed kept struggling with the timing of the turn.

Of course, Speed went for the flashy turn anywayand thats when Breakker dropped the hammer.

The Undertaker couldnt contain his laughter as he remembered how hard the hit landed.

Michelle McCool added that even she, someone who doesnt usually react, jumped out of her seat.

Undertaker backed her up, saying their whole family lost it watching Speed get leveled.

Breakker casually brushed off the talk, saying it wasnt even the hardest hit hes ever delivered.

But The Undertaker wasnt done piling on the jokesand even suggested nobody else in WWE should be allowed to throw a spear after seeing Breakkers version.

Michelle McCool laughed and added one final jab.

While WWE made it clear that the entire segment was discussed and approved ahead of time, Breakkers own comments show he knew Speed was struggling with his entranceand still went full force with the spear. Some fans have called it stiff, others say it made for great TV. Either way, its a moment nobodys forgetting anytime soon.
