Joe Hendry isnt done with WWE or Trick Williams just yet.
According to Fightful Select, the popular TNA star is expected to pop up on WWE programming even more in the coming weeks as his feud with the NXT brand heats up.
Hendry has already been making regular appearances on NXT as part of the growing crossover between WWE and TNA Wrestling. Sources within NXT reportedly confirmed that Hendry will continue to show up on WWE television through the Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 20. His ongoing involvement is helping build interest for his upcoming TNA World Championship rematch against Trick Williams.
TNA announced earlier that Hendry will get his rematch for the title at Slammiversary, live from the UBS Arena on Long Island, New York. The match comes after Williams shocked fans by defeating Hendry for the TNA World Title a moment that flipped the TNA landscape upside down.
With Hendry working both sides of the WWE and TNA fence, the storyline has injected major attention into both brands and has fueled rumors that Hendry may eventually make a full-time jump to WWE down the line.
