Jade Cargills Queen of the Ring run might be her ticket to the top, but the plan was for her to already be champion by nowif it wasnt for an untimely injury.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed WWEs original intentions for Cargill and how they still view her as a future main-event star. After Bryan Alvarez speculated that Jade could win the tournament and face Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam, Meltzer explained how WWE has seen her potential from the start.
Meltzer also revealed that Jade was supposed to hold gold long before WrestleMania 41 ever arrived.
Cargills injury late last year temporarily stalled that momentum, but WWEs plans to position her as a dominant force clearly havent changed. With the Queen of the Ring tournament heating up and SummerSlam looming, her push to the top could be back on track sooner than expected.
