Anyone holding out hope that Ronda Rousey might return to WWEor even step back into the UFC Octagonbetter hold their breath a little longer.
During a conversation on the Untapped podcast, Rousey made it clear shes in no rush to return to fighting. Instead, shes focused entirely on being a mother and reclaiming her identity after giving birth to her second child earlier this year.
When asked directly if her recent workouts meant a comeback was on the table, Rousey responded without hesitation.
Rousey went on to describe how deeply motherhood affected her mentally and physically, revealing just how much childbirth changed her.
Now that shes on the other side of childbirth, Rousey says shes trying to redefine who she is, both mentally and physically.
Rousey also confirmed the birth of her second child happened on January 6, 2025during a terrifying windstorm that caused fires throughout the Pacific Palisades.
She added that while the labor itself was fast and relatively smooth, the aftermath was anything but calm.
While WWE reportedly remains interested in working with Rousey again and might even consider bringing Shayna Baszler back if Ronda wants her involved, none of that appears to be in the cards right now. Rousey is locked into motherhood, healing, and rediscovery.
