WWE has a ton of solid names on the NXT roster but that doesnt mean they wont sign names that they feel will help the company in the long run. As it turns out, a former WWE star was backstage at NXT this week.
According to Fightful Select, Gail Kim was backstage during the June 17th edition of NXT this week. It was noted that this isnt the first time shes been seen around NXT recently, as shes been present at multiple shows as of late.
While WWE has stated that she hasnt officially signed with the company, the company has been interested in bringing her on board since she became available after her TNA firing.
Of course, Gail Kim has a lot of experience in WWE since she had two stints in the company. She also made appearances at WWE shows last year when she was part of TNA Wrestling.
As reported earlier,Gail Kim was released from TNA Wrestling back in March this year, and this came as a huge shock to fans and wrestlers alike. There was even a lot of internal turmoil following her unexpected firing.
Gail Kim excelled in her backstage role at TNA Wrestling and she would be a huge asset to WWE if they decide to sign her. Therefore, well have to wait and see whether Kim will end up signing with WWE again as fans feel it would be the right call.
