WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has worked with several top names in the business, which is why he always has tons of wild stories to tell. In fact, he has now admitted to being a part of reckless driving while drunk.
While speaking to Inside the Ropes, Jim Ross revealed a wild story from the road, recalling a time when he and Steve Austin had back-to-back shows, WWE Raw in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by a SmackDown taping about 100 miles away.
During the drive between the two events, they drank two bottles of wine and broke nearly every law possible. They were speeding at around 100 miles per hour, had open containers in the car, and managed to finish two bottles of wine within an hour or so. By the end of the drive, they were completely drunk.
Good ol JR admitted he hasnt touched wine since that night. He said the experience was so intense that even the smell of wine now makes him feel sick. He compared it to a bad experience with Jack Daniels years earlier, saying it left the same lasting effect. He also noted that Steve Austin is a unique guy who often goes off on wild tangents about drinking.
This comes after the Texas Rattlesnake revealed that his craziest bar tab ever ended in flames. Nonetheless, one thing is clear: life on the road with WWE Superstars was always wild. Therefore, Jim Ross will likely share even more wild stories like this in the future.
