WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long isnt holding back when it comes to how much fans are expected to pay to attend WWE shows under TKO Group Holdings.
Speaking on his Road Trip After Hours podcast, Long responded to a fan who complained about WWEs ridiculous ticket prices making it hard for parents to bring their kids to live events. Teddy didnt mince words when calling out the companys strategy.
Long tied his comments to the current economy, pointing out how tough things are financially for everyday families.
He even shared a moment from his own day-to-day life to drive it home.
Host Mac Davis backed up Longs point, arguing that the new corporate mindset feels different from what Vince McMahon used to stand for.
While Long admitted fans still turned out in big numbers for WrestleMania, his warning was clearif WWE doesnt ease up on ticket prices, they might start losing the very audience that helped build them.
