Jey Uso is officially back in the hunt.
In a Friday update posted on June 13, 2025, WWE official Adam Pearce confirmed that Main Event Jey Uso will take the final spot in Mondays King of the Ring Fatal 4-Way first-round match. The announcement puts an end to days of speculation about who would complete the bracket.
Pearce made it clear the decision hinged on the outcome of the World Heavyweight Title match from last weeks RAW, where Gunther reclaimed the gold in dominant fashion.
The June 16 episode of WWE RAW in Green Bay is now locked and loaded with massive implications. The final King of the Ring first-round match will now feature Jey Uso joining a field that has fans buzzingand thats not all. The Fatal 4-Way first-round match will now include the following competitors:
- Jey Uso
- Damian Priest
- Andrade
- Shinsuke Nakamura
Only one will advance to the semifinals at Night of Champions, and with names like these, the match could easily steal the show.
Also confirmed for the show: Nikki Bella returns after Liv Morgans brutal ObLIVion attack, and Asuka will step back into a WWE ring for the first time in over a year as she battles Stephanie Vaquer, Raquel Rodriguez, and Ivy Nile in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Jey Usos placement in the King of the Ring could be a game-changer, especially with Evolution 2025 and Night of Champions both looming. Pearce teased that more updates are coming over the weekend, but this latest reveal already raises the stakes heading into Monday.
