Mr. Iguanas definitely the biggest star coming out of the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event. Considering the fact hes already a huge fan-favorite, it comes as no surprise that he is now finalizing a deal with WWE.
According to Fightful Select, Mr. Iguana is finalizing a deal with WWE. After impressing at Worlds Collide, sources stated that he would be appearing in NXT and that appearance already happened this past week. WWE is now working on a deal that would include more appearances in the future.
It was noted that there was some confusion recently after Mr. Iguana claimed in an interview that he was headed straight to the main roster and would skip NXT. The video was later edited, and while some said he never made those comments, it was confirmed that he did. Fightful then stated that they hadnt heard anything on whether Mr. Iguana had heat in the company for the comments.
This comes after Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Mr. Iguana got backstage heat for saying he would skip NXT and go straight to WWEs main roster. Regardless, since hes finalizing a deal with WWE, its clear the company is high on him and so fans can expect to see him more often on WWE programming soon enough.
