TheJune 11, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite featured Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland duking it out in an incredible match. However, fans were concerned that Osreay suffered a broken nose during the match and now his condition has been revealed.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Will Ospreay is doing fine after his match against Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite. There was some fan speculation that he might have broken his nose, but that doesnt appear to be the case. It was noted that Ospreay is still expected to compete as planned this coming week.
As seen during this weeks episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland took each other to the limit in a very hard-hitting match. The match ended in a draw and then the Young Bucks came out and attacked Strickland.
Afterwards, the Young Bucks hit a double superkick with thumbtacks on their shoes on Will Ospreay after Ospreay took the bullet for Strickland. Medical staff immediately checked on Ospreay and many fans were worried he suffered a broken nose. Even the commentary team stated that he might have sustained a potential broken nose injury.
Regardless, fans are now relieved that Will Ospreay is completely fine and will be able to compete again next week. Therefore, well have to see how AEW will continue to book Ospreay in the coming weeks, as its clear he will be feuding with the Young Bucks as we head towards All In: Texas.
