Lucha Libre fans did a double take during WWE NXT on June 10, 2025because AAA royalty just pulled up.
During the episode, which aired live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, cameras caught Psycho Clown and Octagn Jr. sitting ringside right before the tag team match between The Culling (Niko Vance and Shawn Spears) and Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.
The appearance wasnt announced ahead of time and immediately sparked speculation online. With the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide crossover event still fresh in everyones mind, this kind of presence can only mean one thing: the door between promotions is still wide open.
Psycho Clown and Octagn Jr. are both locked in for Triplemana Regia on June 15, where Clown will challenge for the AAA World Tag Team Championships alongside Pagano in a four-way match. Their appearance on NXT may be part of AAAs continued effort to build momentum heading into that showor they might just be there to stir things up.
Neither man got involved in the match, but their presence didnt go unnoticed. Commentary acknowledged the surprise guests, hinting that this might not be the last time we see AAA talent inside a WWE venue. With Triplemana just days away and WWE keeping AAAs stars in plain sight, the wrestling landscape is getting harder to predict by the minute.
