Mariah Mays arrival in WWE has already turned headsbut now fans may have a new name to learn.
According to Fightful Select, WWE has internally listed the former AEW star under the name Blake Monroe. The report surfaced just hours before the June 10 episode of NXT aired on The CW, following a cryptic tweet from May that had fans bracing for another major moment.
While WWE hasnt officially confirmed the name change, its common for the company to rebrand incoming talent, especially those from outside promotions. Assuming its not a misdirect, Blake Monroe could be the next big name to hit the NXT womens division.
Just one week ago, Mariah made her surprise debut during the June 3 episode of NXT, interrupting a brawl between the entire womens roster by appearing on the balcony in a sparkling outfit. Her message was loud and clear: The best womens division in the world just got a lot more glamorous, she said, before adding, Im the next NXT Womens Champion.
