Ethan Page is already fired up heading into tonights WWE NXT episodeand not just because hes defending his North American Championship. Just 30 minutes before the June 10 broadcast, WWE dropped a backstage promo featuring Page unloading on NXT GM Ava and threatening to take things directly to management.
Page, who retained his title in a chaotic fatal four-way at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, said hes tired of being disrespected despite carrying the North American Championship.
Page is scheduled to defend his title tonight against Sean Legacy, but he made it clear hes already thinking biggerand not happy about Avas handling of his title reign.
He called out his title defense at Worlds Collide as proof hes been carrying the brand under pressure, and warned Ava whats coming next.
He finished by doubling down on how he expects to be treated moving forward.
Page may have a title match tonight, but its clear hes playing offense in more ways than one.
