Eddie Kingston is still fighting through one of the toughest battles of his careerand this one isnt in the ring. The AEW star, whos been out of action since May 2024, dropped a brutally honest update on June 9, 2025, sharing footage of his ongoing rehab for the severe leg injury that sidelined him over a year ago.
In a video posted to Instagram, Kingston is seen grinding through physical therapy, recovering from a broken tibia and torn ACL and meniscus suffered during a match with Gabe Kidd in NJPW. Instead of trying to be motivational, Kingston gave fans his trademark honesty.
This raw update echoes what Kingston said earlier this year during an interview with Wrestling With The Narrative, where he opened up about the toll the injury has takenboth physically and mentally.
Kingston also revealed that complications with his insurance delayed physical therapy, and just as he was ready to start, new health issues hit.
Doctors ran tests to rule out serious conditions.
But the stress hasnt gone anywhere.
Being away from wrestling has been one of the hardest parts for Kingston.
And when it comes to how hes been holding up? He says his appearance says it all.
Doctors initially estimated Kingston might be cleared by June 2025, but as of now, no official return date has been announced. One things for surehes not giving up.
