GUNTHER just made WWE history againand Triple H made sure the world knew it.
After choking out Jey Uso in a brutal main event on the June 9, 2025 episode of WWE RAW in Phoenix, Arizona, the Ring General reclaimed the World Heavyweight Championship. It was a savage, physical fight that saw Jey walk in taped up from Bronson Reeds attack at Money in the Bank, only to be dismantled by GUNTHERs relentless offense.
Jey fought through a release German suplex on the floor, thunderous chops, a powerbomb, and even a spear. He landed an Uso Splash and almost had itbut GUNTHER refused to fall. In the final stretch, the two went to war in a sleeper-hold exchange. Jey locked one in, but GUNTHER broke out, applied his ownand put Jey Uso to sleep in the middle of the ring.
Then RAW went off the airand Triple H logged in. The Chief Content Officer dropped a message that put respect where it was due. In a post on Twitter/X, Triple H wrote:
It was short, direct, and real recognition for a match that had fans on edge from start to finish. Jey Uso may have lost the gold, but Triple H made it clearhes still Main Event.
GUNTHERs win not only cements his comeback but also kicks off a new chapter with the World Heavyweight Title back on his shoulder.
