Veteran Chicago Sky point guard Courtney Vandersloot suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament and will miss the rest of the 2025 season, the team announced Sunday.
Vandersloot sustained the injury in Saturday's 79-52 loss to the Indiana Fever. She was driving to the basket and went down with 5:29 left in the first quarter. She was quickly surrounded by her teammates, then carried off the court, and later underwent an MRI.
Vandersloot will have surgery to repair her ACL, the team said.
