Nikki Bella is set to return to WWE television on the June 9, 2025 episode of RAWbut not everyone is celebrating the news.
Former WWE Superstar Odyssey Jones took to Twitter to react to Nikkis comeback, pointing to what he sees as a double standard in how WWE handles talent involved in domestic dispute controversies. Jones, who was released from WWE after facing his own set of allegations, didnt hold back.
Jones was released after a domestic violence allegation surfaced, despite no legal charges being filed. He has since spoken out about the situation, expressing frustration with how the company handled the matter and how he was left in the dark while trying to clear his name.
Nikki Bella, meanwhile, recently addressed her situation on The Nikki & Brie Show, saying she has been wrongly portrayed online in the aftermath of her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev.
Artem was arrested in Napa, California, on a felony domestic battery charge. The optics of Nikkis return have drawn criticism, especially from someone like Jones, who saw his own WWE run end under somewhat similar, though still legally unresolved, circumstances.
As WWE gears up for a huge RAW episode with Nikki Bellas return, Jey Uso defending the World Heavyweight Title, and John Cena continuing his farewell tour, some fans and former talent are questioning the companys standards when it comes to accountability.
