Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in WWE, saw her release coming long before she got the calland now shes sharing exactly how it all went down.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Black admitted she had a strong gut feeling that her time in WWE was coming to an end, especially during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas. While she didnt know for certain, she couldnt shake the sense that the clock was ticking.
She described soaking in the experience with her best friend Roxanne Perez at WWE World, knowing it might be her last hurrah:
Her final match was against Sol Ruca at a WWE live eventand in her words, it felt like the end.
When the release call came, she asked if it was budget cuts. WWEs response?
Elayna Black might be done with WWE, but shes not done with wrestling. With AEW and other promotions potentially in play, shes keeping her options open and her head high.
