Abbey offers cassette lockring tool for new XTR group

BEND, Ore.(BRAIN) Abbey Bike Tools has brought out a cassette lockring tool for the new Shimano XTR Di2 group, which was publicly released this week.

The tool is part of Abbey's Crombie lockring tool family and fits the new external splined lockrings found on Shimano mountain bike cassettes with a 9-tooth smallest cog (M9200 9-45).

This new tool has one side for the new external lockring with the other side of the wrench working on the more common Shimano/SRAM cassette lockrings with a thru axle.The tool is made of U.S.-milled stainless steel in Bend, Oregon. It retails for $60.
