Seth Rollins is ready for one last showdown with John Cenaand this time, hes not hiding his true goal.
During a conversation with ET Now, Rollins made it crystal clear: he wants to square up with Cena before the legend calls it a career and he wouldnt mind busting his nose again in the process.
The topic came up as the conversation turned to acting and Cenas transition into Hollywood. Rollins praised his longtime mentor and friend, calling him the best man and revealing their ongoing group chat centered around coffee.
Rollins admitted acting may not be for him, but Cenas legacy continues to inspire him beyond the ring.
He didnt hold back when asked about Cenas farewell WWE run either.
But when the interviewer asked if Rollins wanted one final match with Cena before retirement, things took a sharpand very specificturn.
That wasnt just trash talk. Rollins famously broke Cenas nose during a 2015 match on Monday Night RAW with a brutal knee strike to the face. The moment was replayed endlessly, with Cena continuing the match despite the obvious and painful injury. It instantly became one of the most brutal visuals in modern WWE history.
Rollins didnt exactly walk that comment back either. With a grin, he added:
If WWE is planning Cenas final chapter, dont be shocked if Seth Rollins is penciled in as the final boss. And if Rollins has his way, he just might deliver another souvenir shot to Cenas face before the curtain drops.
