While WWE fans are still chanting We Want Truth, R-Truth himself isnt crying over spilled storylines. According to WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long, the longtime fan-favorite is actually embracing his WWE departure with open armsand may even be on the verge of something bigger.
Speaking on the Road Trip After Hours podcast, Long revealed that he personally spoke with R-Truth after his exit and shared the former Superstars mindset going forward.
Long believes this unexpected shift might just be a divine setup for a new chapter in R-Truths career.
He even drew from his own history with WWE, saying:
Longs podcast co-host Mac Davis chimed in with optimism about seeing a new version of Truth outside the confines of WWE comedy segments.
Teddy Long had a suggestion for how R-Truth could reintroduce himself to fanswith the help of an old imaginary friend.
While Davis speculated about the potential for a WWE return since Truth didnt receive the usual future endeavors message, Long was firm in his stance that this is the end of the roadat least for now.
For R-Truth, this may not be a goodbyeit could be the beginning of something real. With Teddy Long in his corner and fan support stronger than ever, the next move might finally show us the R-Truth we never got to see in WWE.
