On the June 5, 2025 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Joe Hendry finally addressed the elephant in the roomhis shocking loss to WWE NXTs Trick Williams. In a tense backstage segment, Hendry opened up about dropping the TNA World Championship and the emotional weight its placed on him since.
Appearing alone on camera, Hendry reflected on his title reign and the feeling of letting everyone down after losing the companys top prize to someone outside the TNA roster.
He admitted the loss has shaken him deeplynot just professionally, but personally.
Despite his desire to reclaim the championship, Hendry acknowledged its no longer his spot.
Hendry then opened up about his history with TNA, revealing how much the company means to him.
But Hendry didnt get much time to wallow. Frankie Kazarian cut in and unloaded on him with a sharp verbal assault, tearing down Hendrys speech in brutal fashion.
Kazarian reminded Hendry exactly who he used to idolizeand made it personal.
With their match set for Against All Odds, Kazarian ended with a cold promise.
