Mark Nash didnt land his WWE gig through casting calls or networkingit happened because Triple H texted him out of nowhere.
Appearing on the You Know Im Right podcast, Nash revealed how his journey into WWE started with a message from none other than Paul Triple H Levesque himself.
I actually got a text message from Triple H. And he just basically said, Hey, man. Big fan of your work. You got time for a call? At first, Nash didnt believe it was real.
The timing was perfect. His contract with Top Rank Boxing was coming to an end, and WWE was ready to hand him a mic. Just days later, he made his debutnot at a random venue, but in one of the most electric arenas in the world.
Nash kept the announcement under wraps until right before the show. It wasnt just another gig for himit was personal.
Once the show aired, the reaction was instant. My phone blew up. Friends, family the WWE Universe was very complimentary and accepting.
From hosting Vegas Golden Knights games to announcing boxing matches for ESPN, Nashs path has been anything but ordinary. But a simple text from Triple H opened a new doorand now hes the voice fans hear every Friday on SmackDown.
