Katana Chance was let go during last months round of WWE cuts, and many people were disappointed about how she was handled in the company. Following her WWE exit, Chance has admitted she was shocked.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Katana Chance talked about how she felt after being released from WWE. At first, she was shocked and didnt really know how to feel. She said working there, you always know you could get fired at any time. Its something wrestlers joke about, and while she didnt think about it every day, it was always in the back of her mind because thats how the business works.
Chance didnt expect to be released but after thinking about it, she realized there might have been some signs. Even then, things change so much in wrestling that if she worried every time something was different, she wouldnt have enjoyed her time.
Even though it was a shock, she had been with WWE for many years, so it felt a bit normal. Right now, shes trying to understand her feelings and figure out how she feels about it all. Shes sad because she knows she had more to show and do, but she also knows theres always more you can do in life.
Katana Chance also stated that WWE never really gave her a chance to truly find herself as a character. Nonetheless, well have to see what the future holds for Chance, especially since her WWE departure has left her struggling with unfinished business.
