The past few days have been a very dark time for WWE fans as the company has released R-Truth, Carlito and most recently, Sarah Logan. However, it now appears that there might be more releases coming.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that he was told more WWE releases could be coming and that Valhallas release might not be the last. He mentioned that he doesnt want anyone to lose their job and doesnt like seeing people get cut.
Alvarez pointed out that The Miz hasnt been doing much lately and noted how a recent segment on SmackDown featured a teased breakup between Miz and Carmelo Hayes, right around the time WWE released R-Truth, Carlito, and Sarah Logan. He once again noted that he was told there are others.
Alvarez also noticed that Miz removed anything related to WWE from his Twitter bio. It used to say The Most Must-See WWE Superstar, but now it only says The Most Must-Read Twitter Account of All Time.
Alvarez said he was told that Miz is working on the new season of American Gladiators, and while people might be skeptical WWE would release him now, the fact that he erased WWE references on social media could mean something. Alvarez suggested it would be weird for someone to do that unless a release was coming, especially during a wave of cuts, and said that where theres smoke, theres usually fire.
This comes after Fightful Select reported that despite speculation about The Mizs future, especially after fans noticed he had unfollowed WWE, theres been no indication that hes been told his contract wont be renewed. Therefore, we will have to wait and see who will end up leaving WWE in the future, as fans still feel worried about The Mizs future right now.
