Sting already retired from in-ring action last year at AEW Revolution but he still makes regular appearances at wrestling events, where anything can happen. In fact, a couple just got engaged in front of Sting at a recent fan event as well.
The Icon took to Twitter and uploaded a video of a man named Angel, proposing to his partner Crystal at a recent fan event. Angel handed Sting a note asking if it would be okay to propose, then went ahead and gave his partner the ring.
The man then asked Sting to add a special touch by ending the moment with his signature phrase, Its Showtime! Sting obviously listened to the request and then congratulated the happily engaged couple.
Sting already signed a multi-year deal with AEW last year, so he will remain part of the company for a long time. Thats why its always a special occasion whenever fans get to meet Sting at such wrestling events.
Even though Sting has retired from in-ring competition, moments like this prove that his bond with fans is still as strong as ever. From his legendary matches to special appearances, Sting continues to leave a major impact wherever he shows up and thats never going to change.
