Triple H tried to shift the spotlight to Worlds Collidebut fans werent having it.
Hours after El Hijo del Vikingo reclaimed the AAA Mega Championship from Alberto El Patron, Triple H posted a congratulatory tweet hyping Vikingos title win and his upcoming match against Chad Gable. Instead of celebrating, fans completely hijacked the post, turning it into a fiery protest over WWEs recent releasesespecially R-Truth and Carlito.
The tweet read: Congratulations to @vikingo_aaa! The stakes just got higher for #WorldsCollide this Saturday @luchalibreaaa. It was accompanied by a clip of Vikingos title victory. But within seconds, the replies were overwhelmed by furious fans demanding accountability for R-Truths shocking departure.
One fan wrote, JUSTICIA POR R-TRUTH. Another said, You let go of TRUTH FOR REAL BRO?!?!! @RonKillings. A third didnt hold back either: Bro thinks he can act like nothing happened.
The outrage wasnt just limited to R-Truth. Carlitos exit was also brought up repeatedly, with one user posting, What are the stakes for R-Truth and Carlito? Others accused WWE of sucking the joy out of its product: You took away our agents of fun now its all so serious.
A particularly emotional comment read, Mr. H, what are you doing A lot of us love R-Truth & Carlito They gave us permission to laugh while experiencing the product! Now its all so serious.
Another fan urged a direct message to WWE leadership: Whoever runs this page should relay to HHH himself that us diehard fans are struggling to be fans after this most recent move of not keeping @RonKillings.
And perhaps the most blunt: Rehire R-Truth right now.
Triple Hs attempt to shift momentum toward Vikingos big moment backfired instantly, with the fanbase laser-focused on what they see as WWE turning its back on two beloved veterans without warning or explanation. The absence of any official company statement about R-Truths release has only fueled the anger.
What started as a title celebration turned into a digital uprisingand WWE is now left dealing with a public relations mess they werent prepared for.
Do you think WWE should bring back R-Truth and Carlito? Were their exits a mistake? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
