Chris responded by saying he would never bring up the barking, but Trish didnt shy away from it. She recalled her exact reaction when the segment was pitched.
Despite her disgust for the segment, Trish explained how it ended up serving the larger narrative. At the time, her character was hated. The scene, however humiliating, was designed to flip the audiences perception and generate sympathy.
