Leigh Laurel may have been eliminated from WWE LFG, but her wrestling journey is just getting startedand now shes officially part of the WWE system.
During a backstage segment on the May 28 episode of WWE EVOLVE, Stevie Turner presented Laurel with an official contract, confirming that she has signed with the brand. Along with the big news, Laurel was also given a new ring name: Jin Tala.
The moment capped off an emotional few weeks for Laurel, who was sent home by Booker T during the May 4 episode of LFG. At the time, she remained positive about her future, writing on social media:
Now, just weeks later, that future is officially underway with WWE EVOLVE. Jin Talas signing is already being celebrated by fans who connected with her passion and presence throughout the LFG series. And based on her new home in EVOLVE, its clear WWE sees something in her too.
