After him and his Don Callis Family stablemates Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita emerged victorious over Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O'Reilly of The Paragon at AEW Double or Nothing this past Sunday, Josh Alexander will be returning to action tonight as he goes head-to-head with Brody King in an AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier Match. The winner will earn a spot in an upcoming Four-Way Match, with a shot at the title currently held by Kenny Omega at the upcoming "Dynamite" Fyter Fest special on June 4.
"Hangman" Adam Page secured the opportunity to face Will Ospreay in the finals of the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament, having defeated the aforementioned Alexander in the quarterfinals and the aforementioned Fletcher in the semifinals. He ultimately defeated Ospreay this past Sunday at Double or Nothing, landing a clothesline and a pair of Buckshot Lariats in the closing moments of the bout. In light of such, Page will appearing on tonight's edition of "Dynamite" with something on his mind to share.
As of writing, no other matches have been announced for "Dynamite" but there is sure to be some further fallout from Double or Nothing. Mercedes Mone emerged victorious in the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournaments to earn the right to challenge for the AEW Women's World Championship respectively, while Toni Storm retained said title, Kazuchika Okada retained the AEW Continental Championship and The Hurt Syndicate retained the AEW Tag Team Championship. Ricochet also defeated Mark Briscoe in a Stretcher Match, and Willow Nightingale, The Opps, Swerve Strickland, and the aforementioned Omega defeated The Death Riders and The Young Bucks in Anarchy In The Arena.
We are live! Excalibur, Taz, and Ian Riccaboni greet audiences at home as Tony Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Page and he makes his way to the ring.
Schiavone addresses Page winning the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament, and Page says triumph is fleeting. He says you're on top of the moment, but then you wake up and the moment has passed. He says he's lost sight of that the last three years, and it's not the win or loss that mattered but rather what you decide that does.
Page thanks Will Ospreay for giving him the fight of his life, and says while one of them had to lose, the other would taste victory. He says he won't be defending the Owen Hart Cup Tournament Championship and hands the belt over to Schiavone, then says he could stay in the ring all night and say how much winning the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament. He says it's about one thing now, and that's the AEW World Championship.
Page says that AEW is about creativity and passion, then says on his first day in the company, he told fans that while he was part of AEW, they would be his boss. He promises to win the AEW World Championship and free it from the briefcase it's been in. He says he'll hold it above his head and defend it with every ounce of his being.
Swerve Strickland's music hits, and he makes his way out. Strickland throws it to a clip from the April 9 edition of "Dynamite" explaining that they cost Strickland his match for the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley at AEW Dynasty just for Page and saying that they do not forget who their friends are. Strickland says he had his match at Dynasty won, then asks Page if he really told The Bucks to cost him.
Page vows that he never told The Bucks that, then says he would've done it before. Strickland says Page is "full of s***".
Ospreay's music hits, and he makes his way out as Page and Strickland stare one another down. Ospreay looks to calm the two men, then stares them both down and tells Strickland he hates getting involved in his business. He says he views Strickland as his big brother, He says the stakes were no higher than they were on Sunday, but he lost. He says Page had a choice after their match at Double or Nothing, but he still chose to shake Ospreay's hand and he knows that Page really does care about AEW. He says people are starting to believe in them, then says Page is the one who can ultimately save AEW. Ospreay proposes that himself, Page, and Strickland work together, but Strickland says he will never work with Page and heads to the back.
