Why AEW Dynamite Match Announcements Were Delayed

Now we know why. According to Fightful Select, AEW waited until the very last minute to finalize tonights lineup because several wrestlers were still recovering from Double or Nothing.

The pay-per-view was reportedly brutal on the roster, with multiple talents nursing injuries, including both Young Bucks. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the situation with Nick Jackson has raised concern behind the scenes.

That internal scramble led to delayed announcements, as AEW held off to see who could actually step in the ring. While the injury list isnt publicly available, word is this might be one of the longest AEW has had to manage in quite some time.

Still, the show must go onand AEW pulled it together in time. Heres the full lineup for tonights Dynamite:

• Face-to-Face Confrontation: Mercedes Mon and Toni Storm
• Hangman Page speaks after winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament
• No DQ Match: Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. Anna Jay & Harley Cameron
• Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Marina Shafir) & Gabe Kidd vs. Willow Nightingale, Mark Briscoe & Mike Bailey

Meanwhile, not all the post-Double or Nothing news was bad. Jamie Hayter, who wrestled Mercedes Mon at the event, spoke to Fightful and cleared up any concerns about her health.

Totally fine with no worries, Hayter said about her physical condition.

Will Ospreay also came out of the event in one piece, despite going all out in the finals of the mens Owen Hart Foundation Tournament against Hangman Page.

With so many names banged up, AEW is expected to tread carefully in the coming weeks. For now, tonights show looks solidbut any more injury setbacks could force Tony Khan to change direction fast.
