AEWs pay-per-view run times have once again stirred up discussionand this time, Ricochet stepped in to say what a lot of people might be thinking.

On May 27, Ricochet took to Twitter to react to a report from Wrestling Observer Live that claimed nearly everyone backstage in AEW agrees the pay-per-views are too long. According to Bryan Alvarez, he spoke with multiple AEW talents who believe the shows should end before midnight on the East Coast. But Ricochet wasnt having it when it came to fan complaints.

In a tweet that cut through the noise, Ricochet wrote: Honestly, even if we changed something, it would just be something else that people would complain about.

Alvarezs original comments painted a picture of general frustration backstage about the length of events like Double or Nothing, saying that every single person [he] talked to felt the shows dragged on, except Tony Khanwho Alvarez didnt speak with but assumed was fine with the format. He added that AEW talent feel powerless to push back against Khans creative choices.

Ricochets tweet seems to reflect the exhaustion some performers feel about constant criticism from fans, even when adjustments are made.

Do you agree with Ricochet that fans would complain no matter what, or should AEW actually trim the length of their pay-per-views? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
