The May 27 episode of WWE NXT featured continued fallout from WWE Battleground. However, the brand also has Worlds Collide to deal with, and two big matches were booked this week.
On tonights episode of NXT, a backstage segment with Stephanie Vaquer led to the announcement of a tag team match for the upcoming Worlds Collide event. Vaquer will team with Lola Vice to take on Dalys and Chik Tormenta.
Later in the night, Ethan Page delivered a promo in the ring as the new NXT North American Champion, but he was interrupted by JeVon Evans, Laredo Kid, and Rey Fenix. The confrontation resulted in the announcement of a Fatal 4-Way match for the NXT North American Championship at Worlds Collide.
WWEs Worlds Collide event, featuring talent from NXT and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025. The event will be held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and will stream live on WWEs YouTube channel.
We will keep a close eye on Worlds Collide as WWE keep filling up the card. Only time will tell what kind of big matches they add to the already loaded card.
